I just reinstalled my system. I then ran the pb setup but it wouldn't list bf 1942. I went to evenbalance.com but there were no links to bf 1942. Looks like they gave up on it. I can't play anymore because there are no more PB updates unless someone knows a link to the PB files.

They gave up on pb support about a month ago. You can get a fresh set of pb files from here.....

Thanks Doom. Do I need a download manager or something else to download them? I wish I had the $$$ to send you for your monitor. I'm lucky just to have my lights and internet on right now. Work has been really slow lately.
